Thank you for your interest in my quilting. I offer edge to edge (all-over) quilting, custom borders (with edge to edge center), or full custom quilting. Pricing
Pricing depends on the size and type of quilting. I have a minimum charge of $50. Edge to edge starts at $0.02 per square inch. I have made a Pinterest page with some of my favorite edge to edge quilting designs. Custom borders and custom quilting depends on the quilt. Contact me to set up a consultation about your project.

Preparation
Please bring your quilt top and backing recently pressed. Trim excess and/or loose threads. Please make sure there are no dark threads or fabric under your light colored fabric, if at all possible. If your fabric is thin, those threads and/or fabric will show up after quilting.  Please make sure that there are no holes in your quilt.

Backings
Backing fabric needs to be 3-4″ wider than your quilt top ON ALL SIDES. If your top is 50″ long and wide, your backing needs to be 56″ to 58″ long and wide. Please press your backing. If you have a seam in your backing, press it to one side. DO NOT PRESS SEAM OPEN. That will likely cause the batting to show through. Also, try to have your seam running width-wise. There will be a charge of $15 per seam if I will be piecing your backing for you.

Batting
Your batting must be the same size as your backing, 3″-4″ wider than your quilt top ON ALL SIDES. You are welcome to supply your own batting. I do offer a variety of battings, including Hobb’s 80/20 (cotton/poly), Hobb’s Tuscany Wool/Cotton blend, Quilter’s Dream Wool, Quilter’s Dream Puff (Poly), and Warm and Natural cotton. My go to for utility (every day usage) quilts is Hobb’s 80/20. For a bit nicer drape and warmer quilt, I really like the wool/cotton blend. For a light weight, super warm quilt with a nice loft, wool is great.

Binding
I can attach binding to your quilt so that it is ready for you to sew. I charge $0.15 per linear inch for this service. Please bring your binding already pieced and pressed in half lengthwise so that it is ready to attach to the top of your quilt. I also offer machine binding. I will piece, iron, attach and sew the binding onto your quilt. Your quilt will then be completely finished and ready for use! I charge $0.25 per linear inch for this service (straight binding only – no curves).

My Machine
I have two Innova longarm machines. “Brutus” is a 26″ (throat space) computerized machine on a 12′ frame. “Gidget” is my 18″ freehand only machine on a 12′ frame. Their frame sizes allow me to accommodate up to 120″ wide projects. Innova’s are renowned in the industry for quality of stitching.
